MATTHIEU DEVAUX - BIOGRAPHY
Matthieu DEVAUX is a French sound designer, composer, author, and singer.
He began playing the piano at age 6, studied singing and the oboe.
At age 9 composed his first song on a musical pocket calculator, on which every number played a note. He then wrote scores of numbers, bringing on a revelation, followed by a deep passion for electronic and experimental music.
From 1992 to present, he successively sang and played with many bands, touring throughout Europe, and releasing several albums. He is now working on releasing soon two new albums, with Spiraldogma (indus-rock) and 2TH (1 LP, «Rose Cendre», 2008, electronic music).
As a sound designer, Matthieu DEVAUX has an insatiable desire to explore all possibilities.
Working for motion design, dance or theatre, he composes musicals for kids shows, as well as conceptual and electronic music for experimental projects.
